ABOUT CONNIE MILLER
Connie Miller is a communication consultant and TEDx speaker coach. She is a trusted advisor and strategic communication partner for many executives regionally, nationally and globally. With her coaching they create a communication platform that supports their efforts internally and externally. Connie helps them learn to listen, inspire collaboration and compel action for their diverse audiences in meetings, interviews and presentations.
Her international coaching clients appreciate her ability to understand their unique cultural circumstances. As an active member of the World Affairs Council she has cultivated relationships with a variety of emerging leaders internationally. In addition she has worked with regional and international leaders in Ecuador, Russia, Turkey, England, Armenia, Japan, Georgia and Uganda. Through her work with these exceptional leaders she has mastered a deep understanding of many of the universal principles of leadership communication to share with all of her clients.
Connie’s background includes a BFA in acting at Carnegie Mellon's famed acting program, followed by a professional acting career and work as a mediator, strategic planner, group facilitator and visual artist - these inform her working approach with her clients.
Connie created the Great Women Speakers Leadership Program to help women who are challenged by corporate environments that fail to support them. In this program they learn how to value and share their own skills and experiences, discovering and developing their unique gifts together.
A passionate gardener, she sees how her work with her clients is like the respectful and careful nurturing she brings to her plants, seeking not to control, but rather to support their developing strength of purpose and authentic expression.
